As a wife and mother of three young daughters, one with special needs, I have been concerned with the amount of artificial products we use on a daily basis. Several years ago, I began a journey of searching for clean natural products for our skin in your typical convenience stores and high end retailers in order to find the "perfect" cream that would answer this need of "clean" products. After an extensive search, I couldn't find anything that made my family's skin feel nourished. Out of necessity, I began creating blends that left our skin feeling hydrated; not greasy or oily. By choosing the best ingredients and using the right methods, I set out to create a line of all natural, organic body products we can all feel really good about. JLK Body Butters was created with this in mind! They are organic shea and cocoa butter based products with emollients, coconut oil, jojoba oil, argan oil, rosehip oil and if you'd like, fragrant essential oils that will melt into your skin like pure butter; sealing in your natural oils and adding moisture to make your skin hydrated and soft.
